＜ミヤギテレビ杯ダンロップ女子オープンゴルフトーナメント 初日＞◇24日◇利府ゴルフ倶楽部(6,548ヤード・パー72)
宮城県にある利府ゴルフ倶楽部で開幕した、国内女子ツアー「ミヤギテレビ杯ダンロップ女子オープンゴルフトーナメント」。初日を終えて井上葉香が4アンダーで首位、上田桃子らが1打差の2位タイにつけている。2アンダー4位タイに若林舞衣子ら4名、宮里美香はヤニ・ツェン(台湾)らと並んで1アンダー11位タイとなっている。
ディフェンディングチャンピオンの有村智恵は1オーバー22位タイ、横峯さくらは3オーバーの41位タイとやや出遅れた。

20歳の初試合を優勝で飾ることは難しくなってしまった。滋賀県の琵琶湖カントリー倶楽部で開催中の「アジアパシフィック パナソニックオープン」3日目。ホストプロの石川遼は巻き返しを図りたかったこの日、スコアを逆に落としてしまい首位と9打差の28位タイに後退した。

この日もドライバーショットが安定しなかった。最終日、最終組近くの時間帯でスタートするには序盤からチャージをかけたかったところだが、4番でティショットを左に曲げると、リカバリーにも失敗してしまい痛恨のダブルボギー。前半さらに1つスコアを落として折り返すと、後半11番でもボギーが先行。13番パー3で長いバーディパットをねじ込み初バーディを奪取すると、14番では「今週で一番いいドライバーショット」が出る。やっと調子を取り戻し15番でバーディ奪うがここまで。2バーディ・2ボギー・2ダブルボギーでスコアを2つ落としてしまい、16位タイから28位タイに順位を落とした。
ラウンド後の練習でドライバーショットを修正、「いいパフォーマンスができる準備はできている」と語った石川。優勝は遠ざかったが「明日こそは」と気持ちは折れていない。17番ではティショットが右奥の傾斜に行ってしまい、極端な左足下がり、バンカー越え、下り傾斜のグリーンという難しいアプローチを寄せ見事にパーセーブ。本調子ではなくとも、集まった大勢のギャラリーを大いに沸かせた。明日の最終日も見ているものを引き込むゴルフで最後まで大会を盛り上げる。
この日、石川と同組でラウンドした池田勇太はスコアを1つ落としてトータルイーブンパー24位タイに後退。もう一人の同組、池田の後輩・アマチュアの藤本佳則はスター選手2人がスコアを落とす中、粘りのゴルフでスコアを1つ伸ばしてトータル2アンダー13位タイで最終日に臨む。

昨季2勝を挙げブレイクしたが、今季はまだ未勝利の松村道央が今季初優勝のチャンスにつけた。琵琶湖カントリー倶楽部にて開催中の「アジアパシフィック パナソニックオープン」の3日目。トータル3アンダー8位タイからスタートした松村は、この日スコアを4つ伸ばし、トータル7アンダー2位タイに浮上した。
松村道央の今季成績
松村は出だしをボギーとするも、3番から3連続バーディを奪取。6番では4メートルのパーパットを決めきれずスコアを落とすが、7番ですぐさま取り返しトータル5アンダーでハーフターン。後半でも11番で4メートル、15番で7メートルのバーディパットを沈め順調にスコアを伸ばしていく。16番でも2オンに成功、イーグルは逃すがバーディを奪取。最終18番はボギーとしてしまい首位に1打差の2位タイでホールアウト。
ここまでは「ショットが良くなくて4日間スコアを出すことが出来なかった」。先週は首位と2打差の4位タイで最終日に臨むも、76ストロークと叩いてしまい18位タイでフィニッシュ。ショットの不安から安定したゴルフから遠ざかっていたが、日曜日の試合が終わって帰宅してから見た今年のマスターズ最終日の映像からヒントを掴む。優勝したチャール・シュワーツェル（南アフリカ）らトップ選手のスイングを見て「70％～80％の力で振るコントロール重視のスイング」に変更。飛距離は若干犠牲にしたものの「安心してプレーが出来ている」ことで結果が出たようだ。
ここまでフェアウェイキープ率は57.13％で3位、今日だけで見れば64.29％で2位とスイングの安定感は数字にも表れている。「今週はかなり調子が上向いている。ここまできたら優勝したいですね」復調したショットを武器に逆転優勝に向け突き進む。

滋賀県の琵琶湖カントリー倶楽部で開催中の「アジアパシフィック パナソニックオープン」3日目。石川遼と池田勇太、2人のスター選手と同組でラウンドした藤本佳則が、この日3バーディ・2ボギーでスコアを1つ伸ばしてトータル2アンダー13位タイに順位を上げた。

「緊張はありますよ。いつだって、試合は緊張します。でもそれは、ギャラリーにとか、選手とかにではありません」大勢のギャラリーに見守られて、さらにスター選手と同じ組でも臆することなく自分のゴルフを貫いた藤本。むしろ「ナイスプレーといわれたら気持ちいい」という強心臓の持ち主だ。
トップ10を射程圏内で迎える最終日は「今日は総合的に良かった。明日もできるだけ上位を目指します」と気合十分。来季のプロデビューを目指す若武者が、大会を最後まで盛り上げる。

琵琶湖カントリー倶楽部で開催されている「アジアパシフィック パナソニックオープン」の最終日。28位タイスタートの石川遼は、この日もショットが安定せず4番でボギーが先行。5番のパー5で奪い返すも、7番でもティショットを曲げてしまいボギー。前半は1バーディ・2ボギーとスコアを1つ落としてしまい、トータル2オーバー31位タイに後退して後半のプレーに入った。
スタートしたばかりの松村道央が1番でバーディを奪いトータル8アンダーで単独首位。トータル7アンダー2位タイにはS・K・ホ(韓国)と丸山大輔がつけている。

HAIKOU, China (AP) -- Tiger Woods put the heat on Golf Channel over analyst Brandel Chamblee's insinuation of cheating, saying Monday that he was ready to move forward and that now it was up to what Golf Channel was prepared to do.
Woods spoke publicly for the first time since Chamblee, a longtime critic of the world's No. 1 player, wrote a column for SI Plus in which he gave Woods an ''F'' for his five-win season because of a series of rules violations.
Chamblee wrote that Woods was ''a little cavalier with the rules,'' and he made the analogy of the time his fourth-grade teacher crossed out ''100'' and gave him an ''F'' for cheating on a math test. Chamblee last week went on Twitter to say the cheating comparison went too far, and he apologized to Woods for ''this incited discourse.''
''All I am going to say is that I know I am going forward,'' Woods said before his exhibition match with Rory McIlroy at Mission Hills. ''But then, I don't know what the Golf Channel is going to do or not. But then that's up to them. The whole issue has been very disappointing as he didn't really apologize and he sort of reignited the whole situation.
''So the ball really is in the court of the Golf Channel and what they are prepared to do.''
Golf Channel has not commented on the flap. Chamblee is an analyst, but he wrote his column about Woods as a contributor to another publication. Chamblee has said he was not asked to apologize by anyone.
Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, was so incensed by the column that he issued a statement to ESPN.com that raised the possibility of legal action. Steinberg shared his client's views.
''I'm all done talking about it and it's now in the hands of the Golf Channel,'' Steinberg said. ''That's Tiger's view and that's mine, and all we want to do is move forward. And whether the Golf Channel moves forward as well, then we'll have to wait and see.''
Woods accepted a two-shot penalty in Abu Dhabi for taking relief from an embedded ball in a sandy area covered with vegetation. Augusta National gave him a two-shot penalty for taking the wrong drop in the second round of the Masters. And the PGA Tour gave him a two-shot penalty after his second round of the BMW Championship when video evidence showed that his ball moved slightly from behind the first green. Even after watching the video, Woods insisted that his ball only oscillated.
Also in question - at least on Internet blogs - was the drop Woods took on the 14th hole of the TPC Sawgrass during the final round of The Players Championship. Woods checked with playing partner Casey Wittenberg on where to take the penalty drop, which is standard procedure. Wittenberg said it was the correct spot.
Chamblee said in an email last week to The Associated Press that he never said outright that he thinks Woods cheated, and that was by design.
''I think 'cavalier with the rules' allows for those with a dubious opinion of the BMW video,'' Chamblee said. ''My teacher in the fourth grade did not have a dubious opinion of how I complete the test. But she was writing to one, and as I was writing to many, I felt it important to allow for the doubt some might have, so I chose my words accordingly.
''What people want to infer about that is up to them,'' he said. ''I have my opinion, they can form theirs.''
Chamblee has developed a reputation for being critical of Woods, mainly regarding his golf game. His column struck a nerve with many, however, because of the implication that three rules violations and a penalty drop involving Woods amounted to cheating - the strongest accusation possible in golf.
''What brought me here was the realization that my comments inflamed an audience on two sides of an issue,'' Chamblee wrote on Twitter when he apologized. ''Golf is a gentleman's game and I'm not proud of this debate. I want to apologize to Tiger for this incited discourse.''

Oct 28 (Reuters) - Three slots at next year's British Open will be up for grabs at the Australian Open in November as part of a new qualifying system for golf's oldest major championship.
The 'Open Qualifying Series', comprising 14 events on different tours around the world, will replace the previous system of staging 36-hole international qualifying tournaments.
"This is a significant change to the qualifying process for The Open and one which will make the Championship as open as possible to players from around the world," R&A Chief Executive Peter Dawson said in a statement.
Events on the U.S. PGA Tour, the European Tour, the PGA Tour of Australasia, the Japan Golf Tour and the Sunshine Tour will offer 32 spots for the July 17-20 event next year at the Royal Liverpool golf club.
The revamped qualifying series will start with the Australian Open to be held at the Royal Sydney Golf Club from Nov. 28-Dec. 1.
"The new Open Qualifying Series will create an exciting build-up to The Open as players bid to secure their places in the weeks leading up to the Championship," added Dawson.
"We believe it will enhance the qualification process by giving players the opportunity to qualify at 72-hole championships as well as being more convenient in terms of their scheduling."
The 36-hole final qualifying will have 12 spots available from four events in Scotland and England prior to the Open.
"We welcome this initiative from The R&A which will offer qualifying places at three events on the PGA Tour in the lead-up to The Open," Tim Finchem, Commissioner of the PGA Tour, said.
